About Us

P Kailash’s Blog is a blog on blogging resources. All blogs and websites use some resources to build themselves.

These resources include a variety of software. The first and the most important of these resources is the software that is used for creating and publishing the blog or the website.

If you are not using the codes (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) to create your blog, you must be using some platform or the software to build it.

There are several blog and website making platforms including Blogger, Tumblr, WordPress, Squarespace and so on. However, P Kailash’s Blog is built on WordPress.

I, Kailash Prasad, the founder of P Kailash’s Blog, use a Microsoft’s Windows powered PC for everything I do on a computer. And what I do includes creating the posts of this blog and publishing them on the internet. I use a Windows 10 PC.

Although, I write blog posts in the editor of WordPress, yet I use Microsoft Word for drafting the content that I publish on my blog. Also, I use OneDrive, the cloud storage to store the data related to this blog.

Thus, the main resources that I use for my blogging needs are:

  • WordPress
  • Windows
  • Cloud Storage, Microsoft’s OneDrive

Of course, I use other resources that every blogger and website owner uses for running their blog and website.

The blog P Kailash’s Blog is all about the blogging resources that this blog uses to create and publish the updates of this blog and those of Kyaa Bolaa, another blog of mine.

So, anyone who is planning to start a blog or website can benefit from this blog. You may start a blog or website in any niche. However, you will need to have a working knowledge of how to use WordPress, Windows PC and the Cloud Storage. Of course, the alternatives are available too.

Also, the blog uses several plugins and themes for adding various functionalities and providing this blog the its desired look and feel.

This blog, the P Kailash’s Blog, publishes updates on the skills that a website and blog creator needs to possess.

This blog like any other blog or website is an evolution. The following paragraphs reveal how it evolved and is still undergoing evolution.

As evident from the content below that starts with the introduction of my own self, this blog was known as DigitalTechnolution in the beginning. I have outlined what I intended to publish on this blog.

In fact, I had a bigger picture in my mind about what I wanted to write in DigitalTechnolution. I had a plan to write about social media, Windows OS and the IT Network Technology. However, as a beginner and learner of WordPress, I could not afford to go ahead with my plan. As a result, I cut short my plan and focussed on the basics of the blogging resources.

I didn’t have even a blurred idea about how to choose a domain name and the name of the blog itself.

In the light or the darkness of what I mentioned above, I chose pkailash.com and DigitalTechnolution as the domain and name of my blog.

Also, I would like to let you know that in the process of doing all the researches, I got some idea of the difference between a blog and a website. And really, as I understood, the line that differentiates a blog from a website is very thin nowadays.

As evident, there was a mismatch between the domain name (pkailash.com) and the name of my blog (DigitalTechnolution).

I kept these for long time. However, I didn’t like them.

I started writing about the Microsoft Windows Operating System first.

However, I didn’t like the name of the blog, DigitalTechnlution, for writing about Windows operating system on a blog with the domain name pkailash.com. So, I changed the name “DigitalTechnolution” to “My Windows OS”. Subsequently, I thought of getting rid of the mismatch between domain name pkailash.com and the blog name My Windows OS. I changed “My Windows OS” to “P Kailash” so that the domain name and the blog name match perfectly.

Now , I included WordPress and the Cloud Storage in my blog. In future, I will be including WordPress Themes and plugin too in my blog.

Finally, this blog is fine tuned with its domain name, the name of the blog itself and its subject matter.
